It is bound to these gates, a vessel to a different world. My bloodline’s talisman is the key to set it free from its perpetual prison. As it rises in a smokeless fire, it pays its gratitude: an elixir of liquid luminosity, bestowing its powers of transcendence. 

The lost city I am searching for is enshrouded in a cloak of cursed magic, after its inhabitants were banished. I am here to break it.
